Overview

Aquaculture New Zealand represents the interests of New Zealand’s Mussel, Salmon and Oyster aquaculture industries. Launched in 2007 as a result of the New Zealand Aquaculture Strategy, the organisation is charged with the implementation of the 10 point plan paving the way to the goal of being a $1billion industry by 2025.

The Aquaculture New Zealand team includes twelve professionals, who are governed by a board of directors made up of industry, iwi and regional representatives who have been elected by Aquaculture New Zealand’s industry shareholders.

The Aquaculture New Zealand team provides the following services to its levy payers:
